The Trimontium Museum
The Trimontium Museum, located in Market Square Melrose has recently undergone refurbishment which was completed in 2021.
As part of the overall project, phase two has seen a new extension (HALO) added to the rear of the Grade 2 Listed building.
A double height space with mezzanine floor, provides some much-needed office space and a spacious learning centre compete with amenities.
The steel frame extension complements the existing museum, with zinc external cladding.
It comprises of partitions, doors, a tea prep area and multiple glazed screens and rooflights.
“It’s been great working with Cubby for this next stage in our museum development. They have been supportive, considerate, timely and professional in their work on this project. All staff, especially Dougie & Keith have been a pleasure to have on site – thanks from all at Trimontium.”
