Cubby Construction completed a programme of civil engineering works for Allan Stobart at Parkhill Road, Kingstown, Carlisle, involving the construction of a new wet fuelling depot.

The project included the development of dedicated concrete hardstanding areas for HGV parking and loading operations, alongside the construction of an area to accommodate three fuel storage tanks.

The works involved the preparation and construction of concrete pads designed to accommodate heavy goods vehicles during parking and loading operations, providing durable surfaces suited to the demands of a working transport facility.

A designated area was also constructed to accommodate three fuel storage tanks, forming part of the depot’s new operational infrastructure.

As part of the wider development, redundant fuel tanks were removed to facilitate the new arrangements and improve the layout of the facility.

The completed works provided Allan Stobart with a new wet fuelling depot, incorporating dedicated HGV hardstanding and fuel storage infrastructure to support its transport operations.
