In 2019 we were awarded a major re-fit program of works as Principle Contractor. Developing predominately a wide-ranging and substantial Mechanical & Electrical scheme throughout the site. A prominent regional retail and events venue, The Rheged Centre focuses on providing the public with high quality food, art and recreation.
As well as M&E, we were commissioned to complete the renewal of extensive acoustic systems to the cinema. Works also included refurbishment of art gallery spaces, activity areas, meeting rooms, offices and conference rooms. Later in the project, we were awarded substantial additional works. These included remodelling the venue’s main atrium and cafe platform – extending the program through to completion at the end of 2020.
