We have an exciting opportunity for Site Joiner Apprentice to join our team Construction team. There has never been a better time to join!
The Role
Based in our Carlisle head office, you will be joining our Construction team, to add support across all areas of the team. This is a hands-on role, where you’ll be involved in a range of practical tasks on a construction site, including first fix and second fix joinery. You will be provided with extensive on the job training and will be fully supported as you study for your NVQ Level 2 Site Joinery.
Key Tasks
- Fitting wooden structures e.g. doors, window frames, staircases, partition walls, roof timbers, floors and roof joints;
- Installing doors, cupboards, skirting boards, door surrounds, shelving and ironmongery;
- Snagging work;
- Cutting and shaping wood;
- Set out, machine and assemble joinery items;
- Repairing and maintaining doors, door frames, windows etc.

- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
