Wild Boar Hotel, Windermere
Part of the highly respected English Lakes Hotel group, Cubby Construction were contracted for the refurbishment of this superb four star hotel. Set in 72 acres of private grounds in the Gilpin Valley above the famous Lake Windermere, the location and client naturally demanded exceptional quality throughout this refurbishment.
Working in close partnership with the Group’s interior design team, Cubby delivered major upgrades to many of the charming old hotel’s 34 bedrooms, en-suites and corridors; delivering sumptuous standards of workmanship in the individually styled rooms, including installation of wood burning stoves, large copper baths and exemplary decorative work.
