Ellis Brigham Keswick Store Fit-Out
We’re excited to share the completion of one of our latest retail fit-outs, the transformation of a full retail unit into a brand-new Ellis Brigham store in the heart of Keswick, Cumbria. Ellis Brigham is a well-known name in outdoor retail, stocking high-end walking and mountaineering clothes, footwear, accessories and equipment. This recently completed project gave Cubby Construction the opportunity to revitalise an ageing unit into a modern retail space which reflects the premium nature of the store to enhance Ellis Brigham’s customer experience.
What the Project Involved:
This was a full internal refurbishment, delivered from strip-out to final finishes. Project scope included:
- Comprehensive internal strip-out, removing all existing interior finishes, fittings and obsolete services.
- Plastering and surface prep to bring all walls and ceilings back to a clean, smooth finish.
- Installation of new tiling, with high-quality flooring and wall tiles installed according to detailed design specifications.
- Bespoke shop fitting, including installation of new shelving systems, product display units and retail counters to create a stylish and functional layout.
Delivering a Smooth, Safe Project
The project was delivered under carefully controlled conditions to ensure:
- Full compliance with health and safety standards
- Minimal disruption to adjoining tenants and the surrounding retail area
- Adherence to key programme milestones and deadlines
Despite challenges which come with working in a busy public area, our team maintained excellent standards to deliver a high quality project.
