Last Friday, 25th April, the Cubby Construction team hosted an unforgettable charity race night, bringing together colleagues, families, and local businesses for a thrilling evening of fun—all in support of two incredible causes: Hospice at Home and Eden Valley Hospice.
The event saw a fantastic turnout, with spirited bidding, friendly competition, and plenty of cheers as the races unfolded.
Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, we’re thrilled to announce that £2,000 was raised to support these vital organisations. Both hospices provide compassionate care to families in our community, and this contribution will help them continue their essential work.
Eden Valley Hospice:
“From everyone at Eden Valley Hospice, thank you so much to Cubby Construction for the amazing £1,000 raised at their race night. We really are very grateful for their continued support which means the world to us and the families we care for. Thank you to everyone who attended on the night, donated raffle prizes and bought raffle tickets – its thanks to you that we can provide the very best care and support to local people when they need us most. Some of the EVH team went along to enjoy the evening too and had the best time – thank you and well done for organising such a fantastic event!”.
Hospice at Home:
“The event was particularly special as it was inspired by the feedback from the Cubby staff, who highlighted the vital roles both charities have played in their lives. Representatives from Hospice at Home were moved by the dedication and commitment shown by the organisers and all who attended the event, leaving us feeling very humbled”.
