Our refurbishment project was carefully planned and delivered to modernise key areas of the hotel while maintaining uninterrupted operations and preserving its established character. The works enhanced the quality, functionality, and longevity of the accommodation and facilities, ensuring the hotel continues to meet the high standards expected of a leading hospitality destination.

The new signature suites are designed with both comfort and elegance in mind:

• Spacious Lounge Areas: Each suite features a generous and cosy lounge area separate from the bedroom.

• Luxurious Super King Beds: Guests can enjoy a restful night on the sumptuous super king beds.

• Herringbone Floors with Carpet Inlays: Adding a touch of elegance and luxury to each suite.

• Walk-in Dressing Areas: All suites include walk-in dressing areas, with many also featuring adjacent window seats, perfect for bridal parties.

• Modern Crittall Style Screens: These stylish screens divide some spaces, reflecting the Gretna Hall Hotel logo and the original Hall’s architecture.

• Generous 4-Piece Bathrooms: Each suite boasts a spacious bathroom, with a few offering an additional separate W/C off the lounge.

• Flexible Suite Configurations: The suites can be combined to create larger family or group accommodations with communal lounges, ideal for weddings of any size.

• Stunning Views: The penthouse suites offer breath-taking views of the Gretna Hall gardens and the Solway coast.

Our comprehensive refurbishment work included:

• Minor demolitions and the strip out of internal elements

• Structural alterations and partitioning

• Installation of new windows, plastering, floors, and ceilings

• Joinery and coverings

• Installation of new doors, plumbing, electrical systems, and alarms

• Interior decoration and associated fit-outs and finishes.

Cubby Joinery supplied the new doors, wardrobes, bedside tables, armoire, shaker panelling, vanity units, and a selection of internal fire doors for each room and the corridors. Their exceptional craftsmanship significantly contributed to the success of this project.
