As part of flood elevation works, we’ve replaced the Coupland Footbridge in Northumbria for the Tweed Forum.

On the edge of the Northumberland National Park, set in between Kirknewton and Yeavering, the beck provides an overflow for the river Glen.

Built to withstand the next 100 years of predicted flooding, the bridge spans 7 metres and has been constructed using soft wood. Concrete foundations and brick pillars support the wooden structure manufactured inhouse by Cubby Joinery.
