Lounge Refurbishment

An independent, award-winning, and modern AA 4-star gem, established in 2005, the Smiths at Gretna Green Hotel is a leisurely stroll away from the iconic Gretna Green Blacksmiths Shop.

To enhance the overall guest experience, this £250,000 renovation creating a new lounge for this popular wedding and tourist destination. As principle contractor our extensive efforts included the removal of select internal components, the addition of new ceiling bulkheads, customised joinery, flooring, wall treatments, plumbing, electrical and alarm systems, plus an exquisite touch of décor.

This transformation also featured meticulously crafted radiator covers, shelving units, ceiling bulkheads, solid ash uprights, and a one-of-a-kind curved stud wall, all courtesy of Cubby Joinery.

”It was a pleasure to work in partnership with Cubby Construction on this project, there were challenges due to the short timescale involved with this project, but the site team managed these well and delivered the project on time and too a very high standard.
